High resolution portable X-ray “XIRÓS Flat Panel System” glass-free and shockproof

The XIRÓS Flat Panel System has been specially developed for explosive detection purposes for, Defense (EOD), military expeditions, Customs and homeland security. Today’s biggest domestic threat surrounding suspicious packages and explosives is the so-called IED (Improvised Explosive Device).

With the XIRÓS Flat Panel System it is possible to make the contents of suspicious suitcases, postal items or packages immediately visible ‘on the spot’; even in hard-to-reach places with maximum flexibility and safety for the EOD specialists.

The American manufacturer LOGOS IMAGING LLC. produces the high resolution X-ray XIRÓS Flat Panel System, based on a portable Golden Engineering X-ray source. The XIRÓS flat panel is fully glass-free and free of fragile parts. Instead, the system is very robust and passes drop tests (1 meter). The system is “dust-free” and “water-resistant” (IP67 Certified). The flat panel is also suitable for explosive detection on foreign expeditions, in varying climates; from tropical to polar. In addition, the flat panel is just 18 millimeters thick!
