Thanks to X-rays in combination with high resolution imaging systems, the contents of a package or item are immediately visible. The EOD immediately assesses whether a suitcase is potentially dangerous. A great advantage is that no specialist has to open a potentially dangerous package to identify the content, which increases the safety of staff. This considerably speeds up the process of identifying the contents of a package.
