The highlight of the event is a Drone Airborne Radiation Mapping demonstration. This is the first time in the Benelux. The drone technology and airborne radiation mapping technology make it possible to quickly detect ionizing radiation over large areas and to easily identify safety risks.
Together with Kromek – pioneer in the development of radioisotope detectors at critical infrastructures – we demonstrate the latest developments in the field of radiation detection and identification with wireless communication. The professionals give presentations, hands-on sessions and demos. Check the program.
As a radiation safety expert, make sure you witness the first “Live Demo of Drone Airborne Radiation Mapping” in the BeNeLux!
The following spectrometric detection techniques for gamma radiation are also discussed:
- Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) detectors – high resolution at room temperature
- Thallium activated Cesium Iodide (CsI (TI)) detectors
- Internet of Things monitoring (IoT) D3S portable network or stand-alone RIID
