Łukasiewicz–PIAP is a Warsaw-based research institute and OEM specializing in automation, robotics, and mobile robots for C-IED and reconnaissance applications. Established in 1965 and part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network since 2019, the institute supports security services and industry with advanced engineering and R&D.
Łukasiewicz–PIAP develops and delivers advanced solutions in industrial automation and robotisation, providing end-to-end support from concept and design to installation and commissioning of robotic workstations for manufacturing. The institute combines multidisciplinary engineering expertise with modern labs to help companies improve productivity and quality.
A distinct focus area is mobile robotics: Łukasiewicz–PIAP designs and manufactures Polish mobile robots for C-IED, EOD and reconnaissance, supplying the Army, Police, Fire Brigade and other security and crisis-management services in Poland and abroad. The institute also participates in international projects and showcases its platforms at major industry events.
Founded in 1965 and incorporated into the Łukasiewicz Research Network in April 2019, Łukasiewicz–PIAP is recognised among Poland’s leading research institutes, leveraging collaboration and R&D to transfer new technologies into practice.
