The RT-50 measures from 20 Bq/kg. The European Union limits start from 75 Bq/kg, which makes the RT-50 a good solution in food monitoring.

 

As with the current situation in Japan there are known contaminants and the RT-50 is a reliable, easy and fast way to measure radioactive contamination in food.

With measuring times of less than 10 minutes Georadis can guarantee sensitivities of

about 1/5th of the required limit for iodine-131, caesium-134 and caesium-137.
