The new B9 Diamond X-ray Beam Position Monitor from Cividec is the first quadrant diamond detector which makes it possible to locate the position of very small X-ray beams. The 4 detectors are only separated 1 um from each other, which makes nanometer position resolution possible.
The diamond detector is designed with UHV compatibility. Diamond is radiation harder than silicon and extremely robust in the practical application.
